BBA students awarded 2nd runner-up in Enactus China Regional Competition

A team of seven HKBU students, four of whom from BBA, took home the 2nd Runner-Up award at the Enactus China Regional Competition on 14 April 2015. 

The team was formed by Miss Wong Chung Ting, Kelly (Applied Economics, Year 2), Mr. Tam Wai Chung, Aquila (Human Resources Management, Year 3), Miss Li Yue, Betty (Accounting, Year 2), Miss Kong Chak Ming, Ming (BBA, Year 1) and three other HKBU students

“Hoolove Box”, the award-winning project proposed by the team, is an online care-package-order platform providing service of delivering presents or daily necessities to family and friends. Socially vulnerable groups would be employed for doing the packing and delivery work. The idea was praised by the panel of judges and won them the award. The team expressed their thankfulness to Mr. Aurelien pierre Vasinis, a Business exchange student from France, for his boundless support to the project. 

The Enactus National Competition provides a platform for students to propose and implement business idea to improve the quality of life and standard of living of the community. Every country that operates Enactus program organizes a national competition. The national champion will be advanced to compete at the Enactus World Cup. This year, 25 tertiary institutions from mainland China and Hong Kong participated in the China Regional Competition.
