The inauguration ceremony of the MBA (China) Alumni Association Zhuhai Branch was held on 28 March 2015 at the United International College (UIC), Zhuhai. Prof. Stella Cho, Dean of Division of Business and Management of UIC, Mr Zhao Yongshuang, President of the MBA (China) Alumni Association and government officials from Zhuhai officiated the event.

Addressing at the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Stella Cho said, “I am pleased to witness the inauguration of the MBA (China) Alumni Association Zhuhai branch. This year is the 4th intake of the MBA Zhuhai class and currently we have around 80 students & alumni in Zhuhai. Although our history is short, I am delighted to see the tremendous solidarity and sense of belonging among the students and alumni. I believe the establishment of the Zhuhai alumni branch would certainly help strengthen the networking among students & alumni as well as their bonding with the alma mater, both HKBU and UIC.”

Alumna Wu Suping, the newly elected President of the Zhuhai alumni branch, introduced the upcoming plan of the association, “the purpose of the establishment of the alumni branch in Zhuhai is to gather the students and alumni together and unleash their potentials. Different interest clubs are set up to cater for alumni’s interests. The “Sports Club” will organize various kinds of sports activities. The “Reading Group” will help to promote the continuous learning among the alumni via different seminars and workshops. Moreover, an “Entrepreneur Club” will provide a platform for those who wish to start up a new business to exchange their experience.”
