Students‘ creative idea wins marketing challenge

A team of four Year 3 students of the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing programme won the Best Video Award at the 2014/15 "Social Media Marketing Challenge" organized by Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority and PC Market. 

The members of the winning team are: Miss LUI Ting Ting (Sam), Miss NGOK Wing Ka (May), Miss CHEUK Ping Hei (Cherry) and Miss CHAN Ka Man (Carman). 

The Challenge aims to enhance tertiary students‘ knowledge of the MPF System and MPF investment, as well as to promote the benefits of getting an early start on retirement planning. Sam‘s team have made good use of their creativity and marketing acumen to disseminate MPF messages to their peers and the public through a variety of online social media platforms. They have set up a booth in Shaw campus to introduce the background of the MPF System and its key features, and produced a video conveying the concept of MPF investment. The video has attracted very high votes on Facebook. “It is a good chance for us to unfold our creativity and execute our own marketing strategies through the competition.” the team said.
