BCom students awarded scholarships

Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing programme takes pride in having nine students awarded scholarships under the Self‐financing Post‐secondary Scholarship Scheme Fund (SPSS) this year. The scholarship ceremony was held at the College of International Education at Shek Mun Campus on 28 May 2015.

SPSS aims to give recognition and to attract outstanding students to pursue studies in self-financing post-secondary programmes at non‐profit‐making educational institutions by offering scholarships and awards.

Three final year students, Cheung Chun Him, Ho Chi Ching Solar and Wai Hui Tung were awarded Outstanding Performance Scholarship which aims to give recognition to local and non‐local students with outstanding academic achievements. 

Talent Development Scholarship of HK$10,000 was granted to a final year student, Tang Tik, who has demonstrated achievements or talent in non‐academic areas. 

Law Kai Wa, Ng Nga Yin, Ngok Wing Ka, Tam Nga Man and Chung Ka Shing participated in internship programmes and awarded Reaching Out Award of HK$10,000 each to encourage them to broaden their exposure to multicultural environment and enhance their communication skills in English, Putonghua or other languages.
