HKBU School of Business supports ethical consumption

27 Sep, 2017
HKBU School of Business supported the Tithe Ethical Consumption Movement 2017 (TECM 2017) as part of the efforts to promote corporate social responsibility and business ethics. Prof. Ed Snape, Dean of the School of Business, attended the opening ceremony on 27 September 2017, joining over a hundred other guests from the government, business, NGO, social enterprise, education and religious sectors to kick off the meaningful campaign.

Organised by Fullness Social Enterprises Society (FSES), the TECM aims to gather different sectors in the society to support and promote ethical consumption, and to help social enterprises overcome limitations in resources and thrive on product and service diversity.

Through business education programmes and a wide range of extra-curricular activities, the School seeks to nurture ethical business leaders and responsible citizens with global vision, who make a difference to the organisations, industries and communities that they serve, in Hong Kong, Mainland China and the global community.
