You will get a reply from the University of Sheffield regarding your application within 4 weeks in a normal case. If an offer is made, it will be either Conditional or Unconditional.
A Conditional offer means that there are requirements that you need to meet before you can start the course, for example a certain English language score, or a minimum grade in your current studies.
An Unconditional offer means that there are no further requirements that you need to meet.
If you have not met the English language requirements at the time of application and there is no other reason for rejection, you will get a conditional offer. Postgraduate students who wish to join Sheffield’s programmes often find that they get a 'conditional offer' on English language requirements. To change their offer to 'unconditional', they need to improve their English language.
Pre-sessional English courses offered by the University of Sheffield
The University of Sheffield (TUOS) offers the opportunity to study English on a course taught with a business and management perspective. These pre-sessional courses are provided by the TUOS English Language and Teaching Centre (ELTC). If you have taken the ELTC English course, it is important to note that candidates who have a conditional offer will need to pass the final test (of this English course) at the required level before you could start the MScGMM programme.
