1. Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)*
Graduates are accepted by HKICPA as having fulfilled its accounting graduate entry requirements. BBA (Hons) Degree - Accounting Concentration is a HKICPA accredited accounting degree programme. 2. Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
Graduates are granted exemptions for 9 out of 14 papers of its professional scheme examination. It is the maximum exemption given by ACCA. 3. The Association of International Accountants (AIA) Graduates are granted exemptions from the Foundation Level and Professional Level 1 of its professional qualification examination. It is the maximum exemption given by AIA. 4. CPA Australia
BBA (Hons) Degree – Accounting Concentration is accredited by CPA Australia. Graduates are eligible to apply for Associate membership of the CPA Australia 5. Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada)
BBA (Hons) Degree – Accounting Concentration is accredited by CGA-Canada.
6. Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA) Graduates are exempted from the first 16 units of the ICMA professional examination, and are eligible to apply for the ICMA designation of Graduate Management Accountant (GMA) upon their graduation. * The HKICPA has signed recognition agreements with accountancy bodies around the world. The Institute has 5 types of agreements.
(1) Membership and Cooperation Agreement with:
- Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).
(2) Reciprocal Membership Agreements with:
- Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA)
- Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS)
- New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA)
- South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)
- Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA)
- Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI)
- Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe (ICAZ)
(3) Mutual Recognition Agreement with:
- CPA Australia
(4) Mutual Examination Paper Exemptions with:
- Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA)
- Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
- The Association of International Accountants (AIA)
(5) Agreement for Recognition Arrangement with
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
