Gift to the School
| Being one of the longest-established providers of quality business education in Hong Kong, the HKBU School of Business has a very strong academic foundation and a number of outstanding strengths. In its drive to become an internationally recognized benchmark for business education, the School has launched further strategic development on various fronts. These include, conducting in-depth, rigorous policy research which will shape public policies related to business and management, enhancing students’ leadership skills and critical and innovative thinking, launching innovative programmes, strengthening ties with external parties, and pursuing additional international accreditations. Donations are an important source of support to allow the School to realize these initiatives, since government funding is limited and has been cut severely. In particular, your support through the newly-established School of Business Development Fund can help us meet the above challenges and sustain our development. The School has attracted encouraging support over the past few years from several hundred donors, including foundations, businessmen in the community, staff, students and alumni. Major donors have supported the following new teaching and research initiatives: |
