School of Business Alumni Mentoring Programme is formed by a group of voluntary alumni and supported by Dean Cheung since April 2011.

Programme Objectives

The Programme aims to provide support and encouragement for students and to build a synergy between students and alumni. It will also strengthen and expand our alumni network. Through this platform, students can:

Bring together the students (mentees) and alumni (Advisors) based on common interests and experiences

Nurture personal and career development

Build strong network for  students with alumni and wider community  

About the Programme

The programme starts from May to August each year. Each advisor will be matched to 3-5 business students of different programmes. While advisor and his/her mentees are free to decide the format of interactions, we encourage both to meet at least two 2-hour sessions during a year. There should be at least two meetings per year, held on or off campus. To build a trusting and supportive relationship, Advisors may involve mentees in various activities, such as dining, attending seminars, participate to company’s functions and meetings. There will be 80 quota for this year.
