Research Impact

School of Business reaches out to industries regularly to link our research to practices. We encourage our researchers to collaborate with business organizations and government agencies to make use of our research to inform practices. For example, Professor Randy Chiu has led a team to conduct the annual "Pay Level Survey" for more than 25 years. This survey has become a key reference for organizations to make annual remuneration policies. In addition, the school actively promotes our research to practitioners by organizing "Power Lunch" around twice a year. We invite senior executives from various industries to the "Power Lunch" at the Banker's Club in the Central. During the lunch, our researchers present the insights drawn from our latest research that is relevant to real world practices and addresses current problems. The "Power Lunch" serves as a critical platform where research meets practice and a "incubator" of research impact for the business school.
