img On 26th October 2022, the HKBU School of Business concluded a year of celebrations of the School’s 65th Anniversary with the long-missed Alumni Get-together as the grand finale. Co-organised with the School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA), the event saw 100 alumni, faculty members and friends reunite on this joyful occasion for a night out in central downtown.

Prof. Ed Snape thanked alumni for their unwavering support for the School. “Every alumnus here today represents our past achievements and our future foundations. HKBU School of Business is defined by your success and your continuing support for the School.” Prof. Snape continued, “Despite the challenges and disruptions of the past three years, the School has been making tremendous progress, from students winning prominent competitions, to launching interdisciplinary programmes, attaining reaccreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, engaging with stakeholders worldwide through hundreds of online and offline seminars, collaborating with prestigious universities and renowned corporations in Hong Kong and overseas, all with the hope of creating a better learning experience for our students, and nurturing ethical business talent for tomorrow.”

Against the backdrop with Prof. Ed Snape were (from second from the left) Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), HKBU, Prof. Gerard Prendergast, Associate Dean (Internationalisation), HKBU School of Business, Ms. Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) & Secretary, HKBU, Prof. Bernard Wu, alumnus and Chairman of SBAA, and Mr. Philip Kan, alumnus and Member of the Alumni Committee and Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation.
