This Contest invites students to capture and share meaningful learning experiences, memorable moments and personal growth during their time at the School.
Create a video of up to 60 seconds to show what “Learning Life at HKBU School of Business” means to you.

Eligibility
- Open to all Taught Postgraduate (TPg) students (both full-time and part-time) from HKBU School of Business.
- Participants may join as individuals or in teams (no maximum team size).
Prizes
Create an original video based on the theme “Learning Life at HKBU School of Business”.
Video Specifications
- Each submission should be presented in video format, up to 60 seconds in duration.
- Please use MP4 format at a resolution of 1920×1080 (Full HD).
- All videos must be filmed and submitted in landscape (horizontal) orientation.
- The maximum file size is 500 MB.
- All entries must include bilingual subtitles in English and either Simplified or Traditional Chinese.
Upload your video to a cloud storage platform (e.g. Google Drive, OneDrive, Baidu Wangpan, Aliyun Drive) and provide a link that allows busd-news@hkbu.edu.hk to download the video file. If your cloud storage platform generates an extraction code / access code, please provide it together with the link. Ensure the link does NOT require a login and remains valid through the end of the judging period.
Complete the entry submission form with participant details, video title, a short description (maximum 100 words) and provide video download link before 1 December 2026, 12:00 noon.
* For team entries, only one team representative should submit the registration form on behalf of the team.

Judging Criteria
*All submissions will first be reviewed for completeness and compliance with the competition guidelines
(length, file type, theme relevance, etc.).
By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge and agree to the competition Terms & Conditions.
- Each individual or team may submit only one entry for the contest. In the event that multiple submissions are received from the same individual or team, only the last valid entry submitted before the submission deadline will be considered for judging. All previous submissions will be disregarded.
- All submissions must be the original work of the participant(s). Any entry found to be plagiarised, infringing on the intellectual property rights of others, or containing content that is obscene, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate, will be disqualified at the sole discretion of the School.
- All external content (music, images, graphics, etc.) must have proper authorisation or licensing.
- Participants must ensure that all individuals appearing in the video have given their consent for its use and publication.
- By entering, participants agree to allow HKBU School of Business to use their name, programme of study, and likeness for promotional purposes related to the competition.
- Personal data collected will be used for administering the competition and handled in accordance with the University's Privacy Policy.
- By submitting an entry, participants grant HKBU School of Business rights to use, edit, and share partial or full parts of their videos for marketing purposes.
- The School retains the authority to make all final decisions regarding awards and prize distribution.
- For team entries, the prize will be awarded to the designated team leader identified in the submission form, who is solely responsible for its distribution among team members. The School will not be involved in any disputes between team members regarding prize distribution. If a winning team or individual cannot be contacted within 14 days of the first notification attempt, the prize will be forfeited.
- All decisions made by the judging panel about submissions, finalists, and winners are final and cannot be changed or appealed.
- The School reserves the right, under exceptional circumstances, to modify the contest rules, deadlines, or prize amounts, or to cancel the contest if necessary.
- The School assumes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected submissions.
