High-Calibre Business Students Awarded Prestigious Scholarships High-Calibre Business Students Awarded Prestigious Scholarships

Five outstanding BBA students at the HKBU School of Business have received prestigious scholarships from the HSBC Scholarship Scheme and the HKSAR Government, respectively, for their outstanding academic performance and well-rounded development.

Wenshi LIU (BBA Finance, Year 4) was one of the awardees of the HSBC Greater Bay Area (Hong Kong) Scholarship worth HK$80,000, for his dedication and career dreams of working in the Greater Bay Area upon graduation. An award ceremony was conducted on 9 August 2023.

Jin Chen YEW from Malaysia, William SUSANTO from Indonesia, Merey BEISENBAYEVA and Arailym SHAIZADA from Kazakhstan were awarded the Belt and Road Scholarship of HK$145,000 each by the HKSAR Government to pursue their undergraduate degree at HKBU.
