HKBU School of Business’s first-ever Executive Luncheon concluded successfully on 22 November 2024, welcoming over 100 delegates from the consulates, senior management, programme directors, school representatives and student ambassadors. We were honoured to have Prof. Alexander Ping-Kong WAI, JP, President & Vice-Chancellor of HKBU along with Dr. Albert CHAU, Vice President (Teaching and Learning), Prof. Yuk-shing CHENG, Interim Dean of School of Business and Dr. Monique Shui-ki WAN, Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate Studies) of School of Business to lead this momentous occasion aimed at strengthening international partnerships with consuls general while showcasing the School’s prestigious business programmes and exclusive international postgraduate scholarship opportunities.
Dr. Monique Shui-ki WAN, Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate Studies), said she is honoured to welcome delegates from various countries to the luncheon. In her opening remarks, she emphasised the importance of global collaboration in today’s interconnected business landscape and invited the consulates to explore HKBU's comprehensive postgraduate business programmes and the numerous scholarship opportunities available. Prof. Alexander Ping-Kong WAI, JP, President & Vice-Chancellor of HKBU, in his officiating speech, he highlighted how this luncheon lays the foundation for strengthening partnerships and fostering a spirit of excellence and innovation within our community, marking the HKBU School of Business stands tall and proud as a leading business school in providing world class business education and research. Dr. Albert CHAU, Vice President (Teaching and Learning), followed with an inspiring address on the university’s achievements and aspirations, reinforcing our dedication to academic excellence. In the closing remarks, Prof. Yuk-shing CHENG, Interim Dean of School of Business, emphasised that the “B” in the HKBU stands for “Best”, reflecting the university's commitment to lead in business education in Hong Kong.
