The Mainland and Global Engagement Section of the HKBU School of Business recently hosted a delightful Tea Party for the international business students on 17th September 2024. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to connect and engage with faculty members and peers.
Dr. Marta DOWEJKO, Assistant Dean (Global Engagement), warmly welcomed the attendees, highlighting the importance of global engagement and the value of the diverse student body at the HKBU School of Business. She emphasised how studying abroad can be transformative, influencing one’s goals, visions, and priorities in life. Dr. DOWEIJKO encouraged students to join curricular and extracurricular activities, which would create lasting memories and provide incredible opportunities.
Students from 29 different countries gathered, exchanging their ideas and experiences, which enriched the discussions and fostered a sense of belonging to the School of Business. Additionally, students received a brief overview of the upcoming Open Day for Taught Postgraduate Programmes. The event concluded with students leaving with new connections and a deeper sense of community within the School of Business.
