The MSc in Finance (FinTech and Financial Analytics) programme of the HKBU School of Business made a presence at Hong Kong FinTech Week 2024. The exhibition was a success, attracting numerous guests eager to learn about the innovative programme and its cutting-edge curriculum designed to equip students with essential skills in financial technology and analytics.

A highlight of the event was the participation of Adeola OLUOKUN, an accomplished alumnus of the programme, in the prestigious Global Fast Track 2024 Pitching Competition. Adeola and his startup, Kena Finance, were selected as finalists, earning the opportunity to pitch their groundbreaking idea on the main stage at the Grand Finale. Their innovative approach to financial solutions garnered significant attention and praise from industry leaders and potential investors.

Throughout the week, the booth buzzed with activity as visitors engaged with faculty members, staff, current students, and alumni. Attendees were particularly impressed by the programme’s focus on real-world applications and its strong connections with the financial industry. The booth also featured interactive demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the latest advancements in FinTech and financial analytics.
