The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (EIC) of the HKBU School of Business hosted an engaging seminar on 5th November 2024, featuring Ms. Donna NGUYENPHUOC, Managing Partner of SPARQ Capital, a multi-family office that invests in growth-stage technology companies. As an entrepreneur and investment expert, Ms. NGUYENPHUOC shared her inspiring insights with over 200 business students by highlighting the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset for innovation and problem-solving in any career. This event was part of the School’s ongoing commitment to equip students with the knowledge and skills essential for success in the entrepreneurial landscape.

Ms. NGUYENPHUOC emphasised the significance of resilience and confidence in entrepreneurship, encouraging students to view failures as essential learning opportunities. “You have to not be afraid of failure,” she remarked, inspiring attendees to embrace challenges as stepping stones to success. Her insights resonated with the School’s mission to cultivate future leaders capable of navigating complex business challenges.
