BBA Students Showcase Talent at HSBC/HKU Business Case Competition 2025

Four BBA students, Mr. Mohit SHARMA (ECON & DA, Year 4), Mr. Chun Nam LEE, Julian (BBA FIN, Year 4), team leader, Ms. Elisha RAI (BBA FIN, Year 4), and Ms. Ruyi YANG (BBA ECON & DA, Year 3), formed a case competition team to participate in the HSBC/HKU Hong Kong Business Case Competition 2025 on 8th March 2025. The team was recognised and awarded certificates for their efforts and commitment in preparing and presenting a real-life business case to a panel of senior executives at HSBC Headquarters. During the competition, team members had the opportunity to learn from senior executives at HSBC and network with other university students.

The team spent six weeks attending workshops organised by HSBC and participated in intensive training and practice sessions at Hong Kong Baptist University, organised by their competition coach,  Dr. Man KO, Senior Lecturer, Associate Head (Teaching), Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance. Dr. KO supported and accompanied the team to HSBC Headquarters for the competition. He highly appreciated the time, effort, and commitment the team dedicated to preparing for and participating in the competition.
