A corporate visit to Wonder, a leading FinTech and payment company in Hong Kong and Asia, was arranged by the programme team for Master of Science’s students in Applied Economics (MScAECON) and Data Analytics and Business Economics (MScDABE) on 23 October 2025. Hosted at the innovative Campus X venue and organised in collaboration with the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with FinTech industry professionals.

Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions during the visit, students gained a deeper understanding of the strategic priorities and operational processes that drive innovation in the FinTech sector. This enriching experience also provided students with a firsthand look at the challenges facing FinTech companies today, offering essential skills and qualifications for success in startup environments, with practical advice for building careers in this dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.
