Dr. Man KO, Associate Head (Teaching) and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance at the HKBU School of Business, was honoured at the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK) Loyalty Member Awards Ceremony on 24th May, 2025, where he received the Loyalty Member Award for his more than twenty years of dedicated service to the institute.
Before joining HKBU, Dr. KO established himself as a seasoned tax expert through his work with multinational and listed companies across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas. His career spans complex tax landscapes—from tax compliance and transfer pricing policies to high-stakes advisory roles.
Alongside his academic responsibilities, Dr. KO remains actively involved in Hong Kong's taxation community. As a Fellow Member and Chartered Tax Adviser of TIHK, he participates in the institute's Taxation Journal Committee and Membership & Member Service Committee. He regularly shares his expertise as a speaker at TIHK events, and his prior role on the HKSAR Inland Revenue Board of Review demonstrates his professional standing in the field.
