HKBU School of Business and JCPA Limited, a professional accounting and business advisory firm, are celebrating a fruitful partnership that has created valuable employment opportunities for accountancy students. This collaboration is largely thanks to the efforts of Dr. Man KO, Senior Lecturer, Associate Head (Teaching), Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance and Student Internship Coordinator.

On 14th February 2025, JCPA Limited presented Dr. KO with an appreciation certificate, recognising his relentless efforts and commitment to both students and employers. Dr. KO's vibrant spirit as an educator, combined with his passion and inspiration, is driven by his love for his students and deep respect for his partners.

Over the past four years, Dr. KO has worked closely with JCPA Limited, resulting in numerous internships and graduate job placements for the School’s students. This partnership has opened doors for students, blending classroom knowledge with real-world opportunities.

A standout feature of this partnership is its commitment to diversity and inclusion. JCPA Limited has broken new ground by being the first employer to hire African students from the School’s Master of Accountancy programme. Beyond employment opportunities, JCPA Limited has also been making donations and supporting the School’s BBA (Hons) – Accounting Concentration students.

The School is appreciative of JCPA Limited's ongoing support. Their contributions have made a positive impact on the lives of students and the broader community.
