Six distinguished scholars from the HKBU School of Business (the School) have been recognised in Stanford University’s 2025 World’s Top 2% Scientists list, underscoring the School’s outstanding research impact in business and management, information systems, and economics.
Compiled using Scopus data, the Stanford ranking identifies the top 2% of scientists worldwide, categorised into 22 scientific fields and 174 subfields, based on key indicators such as citation impact and research output.

Notably, Prof. Christy CHEUNG ranks 3rd in China for the single-year citation category and 29th globally in the Information Systems field for the single-year citation category.
