Dr Randy Wong has been recognised for her early-career contributions to Information Systems through teaching and research by the Association for Information Systems (AIS). Dr Randy Wong, a PhD alumna from the Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems (MMIS) graduated in 2020, has been recognised for her early-career contributions to Information Systems through teaching and research. She was awarded the prestigious Early Career Award by the Association for Information Systems (AIS), which will be presented at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) 2025 on 19 January 2026.

Dr Wong is now a lecturer (assistant professor) at the University of Auckland Business School in New Zealand. She focuses her research on IT and User Behaviors, and the societal implications of digitalization and has published work in globally renowned research journals in her field, such as the Journal of Management Information Systems, Computers in Human Behavior. Dr Wong also serves as editors for international conferences and as an associate vice president for Paper Review Systems at the AIS.
