On 16 March 2026, HKBU School of Business welcomed representatives from CFA Institute for a campus visit.

The delegation comprised Ms Anne Fahlgren (Senior Head, CFA Programme), Mr Drew Bennett (General Manager, Certificates Portfolio), Mr Scott Lee (Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships), and Ms Catherine Perring (Director, Product Marketing). They were received by Professor Zhang Han (Dean and Chair Professor), Mr Ryan Man (Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies), Professor Byron Song (Head, Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance), and Dr Chan Kar-lun (Director, Master of Science in Applied Economics).

During the visit, the delegation learnt more about our pioneering global academic-industry collaboration, discussed future partnership opportunities, and exchanged insights on the latest developments in global finance markets.

This visit was built on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in December 2025, under which HKBU School of Business integrates the CFA Institute’s Sustainable Investing Certificate directly into its taught postgraduate curriculum. The partnership advances sustainable finance education and nurtures the next generation of ESG professionals.
