HKBU School of Business hosted the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI Institute) on 21 April 2026 for an industry sharing session, engaging around 40 Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students in discussions on investment strategies and career development.

The session featured Mr Victor Lee, Senior Fellow and former Board Director of HKSI Institute. He offered practical perspectives on investment decisions and challenged students to reflect on the question: Should we work for money, or let money work for us? He highlighted the power of consistent compound returns, the influence of inflation and interest rates on individuals, and ways to turn market volatility into opportunity.

Ms Josephine Chin, Associate Director (Membership and Business Development) at HKSI Institute, introduced the HKSI Examinations and outlined the benefits of becoming a HKSI Student Member, encouraging students to pursue professional qualifications to strengthen their career prospects.

The School, in collaboration with the HKSI Institute, reinforced its role as a catalyst for academia–industry synergy, jointly advancing the preparation of future-ready business leaders.
