The Junior FUTURPreneur Business Simulation Challenge 2026 concluded successfully on 12 April 2026 on campus. Co‑hosted by the HKBU BBA Programme and the International Association of Business Management Simulation (IABMS), the event brought together over 160 secondary school students and teachers from 19 schools across Hong Kong. Nearly 60 teams participated in a dynamic competition designed to test business acumen, teamwork, and strategic thinking.

The Challenge was created to immerse students in real‑world business dynamics within a risk‑free environment. Participants engaged in market analysis, strategic planning, resource allocation, and decision‑making under pressure. Through continuous reflection, students discovered that setbacks were opportunities for improvement, embodying the philosophy of “learning from simulation, growing through experience”.

Speaking at the event, Mr Ryan Man, Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies, HKBU School of Business, emphasised the importance of experiential learning: “Learning business today is no longer just about sitting in the classroom or memorising theories. It is about learning by doing and experiencing the real pulse of the industry.”

The event highlighted the School’s commitment to nurturing future leaders by providing platforms that encourage responsibility, resilience, and innovation.
