On 3 March 2026, HKBU School of Business students gathered on campus for a business etiquette workshop. As the finale of the Professional Presence Series organised by the Career and Alumni Engagement Section (CAES) of HKBU School of Business, the session was designed to sharpen students’ business etiquette skills and elevate their professional image with the refined interpersonal skills necessary to navigate the corporate landscape.
Delivered by Ms Patrizia Yeung, an external expert, the interactive workshop covered the essentials of making a strong first impression. Students practiced how to build professional relationships through subtle elements of body language and deportment, while also receiving practical guidance on dress codes for various business occasions.
Beyond visual presentation, the training emphasised the art of verbal communication. Participants were guided through effective networking strategies and the nuances of small talk, equipping them with the practical tools to build rapport with industry professionals and confidently present themselves.
