Inspiring Ideas, Empowering Research: HKBU School of Business Launches Inaugural Research Summer Workshop Series
From July to September 2026, HKBU School of Business, together with the Department of Accountancy, Economics and Finance (AEF) and the Department of Management, Marketing and Information Systems (MMIS), jointly hosted its inaugural Research Summer Workshop Series, bringing together distinguished scholars and colleagues across all six disciplines — Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Management, and Marketing — for a season of learning, exchange, and inspiration.
The series featured seven renowned visiting scholars from leading universities in Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. Through research-sharing seminars, faculty presentations, one-on-one consultations, and networking sessions, faculty members and research postgraduate (RPg) students engaged in valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, explore emerging research trends, receive feedback, and build academic connections.
