Ms Kitty Ng, a BBA Year 4 Finance student, was recognised with two honours at the Closing Ceremony of the “Sustaining Love” Education and Youth Ambassador Programme, organised by Food Angel x LINK on 7 February 2026. She received the Bronze Award in the “Sustaining Love” Educational Creative Design Competition and the Merit Award in the Individual Excellence Award category.

Alongside two fellow BBA students, Kitty participated in the programme from June 2025 to January 2026. Supported by the Centre for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) of HKBU School of Business, the students engaged in service-learning modules, covering professional training, food recovery operations, and public education outreach to address real-world ESG challenges in Hong Kong.

The ceremony, held at the Food Angel Jockey Club Food Production Centre in Shatin, brought together distinguished guests including Ms Linda Luk, Assistant General Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility at Link REIT; Ms Gigi Tung Oi-lai, Founder of Food Angel; and Dr Aries Wong, Associate Director (Knowledge Transfer) of CSDS.

This achievement reflects the School’s commitment to cultivating socially conscious professionals and providing experiential learning opportunities that enrich students’ academic and personal growth.
