On 5 January 2026, HKBU School of Business hosted a delegation from the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) to explore collaborative opportunities in research, teaching, and broader internationalisation. Discussions centred on shared academic interests in information systems, marketing, and management.
During the meeting, representatives from both sides identified promising areas for strategic collaboration. There was a strong consensus that CUFE and HKBU School of Business possess significant synergies, particularly for facilitating student and faculty exchanges, applying for joint research grants, and establishing joint PhD training programmes. The discussion provided a crucial foundation for advancing these partnerships.
With over 260 school partners, the School is actively expanding its global network to create opportunities for both students and faculty members. The delegation visit laid a foundation to strengthen ties with top-tier academic institutions, targeting to benefit the broader academic community and foster innovation and excellence in business education.
