HKBU School of Business supported the AIESEC-organised Youth to Sustainability Summit 2026 (YS26), hosted on the HKBU campus on 22 June and 25 to 28 June 2026. This annual youth leadership conference brought together over 120 secondary school and university students for five days of learning, collaboration, and community exploration.

Centred on SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, the Summit spotlighted three key themes: Arts and Culture, Green Techology, and Waste Management. Through activities such as a field trip, a human library session, and a public showcase, participants engaged with diverse perspectives on urban sustainability and explored practical solutions to pressing challenges.

The programme featured 33 external speakers representing corporates, NGOs, and startups, who shared first-hand insights into real-world efforts to build more sustainable communities. Students gained valuable exposure to critical and design thinking approaches, while connecting with peers from different backgrounds to broaden their understanding of sustainability issues.

As the supporting institution, HKBU School of Business reaffirms its pledge to advance sustainability and social responsibility. By creating spaces for collaboration and conversation, the School helps young leaders design the cities of tomorrow.
