BBA student honoured with full HKJC Scholarship

Vivian Lai Chui Yan, a BBA Marketing Year 2 student from the HKBU School of Business, was honoured with the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Scholarships – Undergraduate Scholarship for her outstanding academic achievements and extraordinary performance in voluntary service. Vivian was awarded a full scholarship of HK$110,000 per year to complete her undergraduate degree.
An active volunteer for years, Vivian has recently established a social enterprise for waste recycling, and has initiated a number of voluntary activities to recruit other tertiary students to help the underprivileged in the community.
The HKJC Scholarships – Undergraduate Scholarship is offered for up to 45 students each year in Hong Kong’s eight University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded institutions and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, with a full scholarship as a recognition of academic excellence and dedication to community service.
