BBA students named second runner-up in CFA Institute Research Challenge

img A team of five BBA students won the second runner-up position at the local final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge. Hosted by the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, the competition was held on 22 February 2020, attracting ten teams from local universities in Hong Kong to compete against each other.
 
The winning team of BBA Finance students, namely Xu Huijing (Year 4), Zhang Yuling (Year 4), Lee Ka Chun (Year 4), Tang Di (Year 3), and Khan Abbas (Year 4), went through intensive training before the competition. Participants are required to possess outstanding analytical, valuation, report writing and presentation skills to impress the judges. The challenge allows students to gain real-world experience as they assume the role of a research analyst. 
 
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics.
