“Beyond-the-classroom exposures are a critical part of our programmes at the HKBU School of Business,” said Dr. Man Ko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Accountancy and Law who coached the team for oral presentation skills, “Despite the keen competition, the team performed really well by applying the knowledge learnt from textbooks and making use of their critical thinking to solve the case and impress the judges.”

The QP Case Analysis Competition, organised by HKICPA, is an annual challenge that aims at developing students’ business skills, cultivating their professional judgment and preparing them for the business environment. In 2017, the HKBU BBA merit finalist team stood out from around 500 teams from Hong Kong and China.
