HKBU School of Business Receives Reaccreditation by AMBA

img HKBU School of Business has recently been reaccredited by AMBA (the Association of MBAs) for a further five years, the maximum term possible.

AMBA evaluates the School’s general management programmes, the MBA and the MSc in Business Management (MScBM). The School was commended on its whole-person education philosophy, the development of students’ critical thinking and international perspective, as well as the programmes’ activities in the Greater Bay Area. The panel were also impressed by the School’s progress in the quality and output of research in recent years.

“We are delighted to receive this reaccreditation. This reflects the quality of the School’s MBA and MScBM programmes and of our excellent faculty and students”, said Ed Snape, Dean of the HKBU School of Business. “Building on this success, the School will work hard to further build the strength and international reputation of the programmes.” 

Based in the UK, AMBA focuses on the quality of postgraduate general business programmes, using standards that balance academic requirements with the needs of employers.
The School was accredited by the AMBA in September 2012, and is currently one of the 1% of business schools worldwide to hold triple accreditation from the three main accrediting bodies – EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.
