Top accounting students honoured with HKICPA scholarships

img Four outstanding undergraduate students and graduates in accounting from the HKBU School of Business were awarded scholarships by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). The QP Top Student Award and Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held on 24 September 2022 to recognise the award and scholarship recipients.

The two BBA – Accounting graduates, CHEUNG Nga Ki and TANG Moxin, were honoured with the HKICPA Qualification Programme Scholarships 2022. They were among the 22 QP Scholarship recipients, who were top graduates being recognised for their academic excellence and encouraged to pursue an internationally recognised accountancy qualification.

In addition, LAM Wing Yan and CHAN Man Ching (BBA – Accounting) were awarded the HKICPA Scholarships. They were nominated for their good characters and outstanding performances in both academic studies and extra-curricular activities.

The BBA – Accounting concentration of the HKBU School of Business is a balanced programme providing in-depth accounting training, broad-based business curriculum and a wide range of liberal studies. In addition to HKICPA, the BBA – Accounting concentration has attained full professional recognition from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), CPA Australia, Association of International Accountants (AIA), and CMA Australia.
