Man Hin WONG (Year 4, BBA Finance), To CHAN (Year 3, BBA Finance), Mei Yan CHAN (Year 4, BBA Information System and e-Business Management), Kwok Tou TO from the School of Communication and Ka Lok KAN from the Department of Sociology formed a representing team for the competition. They came up with a proposal to help Citibank adapt the digital era with the theme “All in the Citi”, targeting Gen Z and millennials. The students cleverly integrated online and offline platforms to engage the target audience, and incorporated social entrepreneurship ideas into the final project. The judges were impressed by the team’s sense of corporate social responsibility and how they raised the awareness among the younger community.

The HKGCC Business Case Competition is organised by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC), and is the largest student business case competition in Hong Kong. It is open for all students from universities and community colleges in Hong Kong. Students will have chance to solve business cases and be challenged by a panel of industry-leading professionals, which is an experience rarely gained while studying.
