img HKBU School of Business’ Master of Science in Strategic Human Resources Management programme (MScSHRM) has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), becoming only the second accredited programme in Hong Kong and China, following the accreditation of the School’s Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM) programme in 2018.

MScSHRM students who register as CIPD student members are eligible to achieve the CIPD level 7 Advanced Diploma in Human Resources (ADHR) qualification and receive CIPD Associate membership upon graduation. CIPD qualifications are the most sought-after internationally-recognised qualifications for human resources professionals.

The accreditation signals the School’s commitment to excellence in HR education and also to the internationalisation of its programmes.

Launched in 2002, the MScSHRM programme is a specialist programme designed to transform experienced HR executives into strategic partners and business leaders. Graduates are equipped with advanced management knowledge, HR competences, global vision and strategic insights, and are empowered to effectively leverage human capital for business performance.

CIPD is the professional body for HR and people development. The not for profit organisation champions better work and working lives and has been setting the benchmark for excellence in people and organisation development for more than 100 years. With more than 150,000 members across the world, CIPD provides thought leadership through independent research on the world of work, and offers professional training and accreditation for those working in HR, learning and development.
