Accounting students and alumni achieve outstanding performance in HKICPA QP

Three students and two graduates from the School of Business achieved distinguished performance in the Qualification Programme 2015-2016 of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). The award ceremony was held on 17 September 2016.
Ms. Yeung Mei Shuen, graduate from the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting ('13), was awarded the Silver Award/BDO Prize as the top candidate with the second highest mark in the QP final examination held in December 2015.
A fresh graduate and three students received scholarships from HKICPA. Mr. Chu Yuyang, Peter (BBA, '16) received a Qualification Programme scholarships; while Ms. Fan Wing Sze, Mr. Leung Sze Wai, Leo (BBA, Year 4), and Mr. Shi Ruoxi (PhD student) received the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants scholarships 2015-16, in recognition of their outstanding performance in academic, extra-curricular activities and community services.
Building on tertiary education and progressing to the application of knowledge and practical experiences, HKICPA's Qualification Programme is a comprehensive training that provides the knowledge and skills necessary to become a certified public accountant.
