MBA and MScBM Graduation Dinner Celebrates Achievements and Memories

The Commencement for the MBA and MScBM programmes took place on 6th and 7th June at the campus. A heartwarming and festive graduation dinner was organised on the evening of 7th June, serving as the grand finale to the graduation celebrations. The event brought together over 180 graduates, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey.

The graduation dinner served as a special and joyous occasion to commemorate the graduates' achievements. It symbolised both an end to their current chapter and the beginning of new opportunities on the horizon. Throughout their time at HKBU, students had the chance to connect, support each other, and forge lasting friendships that will endure beyond graduation.

Dr. Monique Shui-Ki WAN, the Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate Studies) and the Director of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and MSc Business Management (MScBM) programmes at the School of Business, kick-started the dinner with an inspiring welcome address. She encouraged the graduates to stay resilient in the face of rapid changes, political turmoil, economic uncertainties, and the emergence of artificial intelligence. Dr. WAN stressed the importance of carrying forward the skills and values cultivated during their studies as a solid foundation for their future endeavors.

Representatives from the MBA and MScBM classes took the stage to express their gratitude to the School for the invaluable learning experience they had received.

The highlight of the evening was the touching "Our Memories of HKBU" video, which showcased the shared experiences, laughter, and bonds formed by the students throughout their academic journey. The video served as a nostalgic reminder of the cherished moments and friendships created during their time at HKBU.

The graduates relished the opportunity to mingle with their peers and professors, creating lasting memories and enjoying a night filled with laughter and camaraderie. The graduation dinner was a fitting celebration of the graduates' hard work, dedication, and the promising future that lies ahead.
