On a glowing June evening, joy, laughter, and proud memories filled the air as the School of Business at Hong Kong Baptist University hosted a vibrant graduation dinner for the BBA Class of 2025. Held on 13 June at the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, the event brought together graduates, faculty members, and special guests in a heartfelt celebration of achievement and new beginnings.
The evening began with warm remarks from Prof. Han ZHANG, Dean and Mr. Ryan MAN, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Studies). Prof. ZHANG shared his happiness at reconnecting with the graduates so soon after commencement, reminding them that the School of Business would always be their home. Mr. MAN reflected on their academic journey from curious first-years to capable graduates, and encouraged them to pursue their dreams with confidence.
A highlight of the evening was the toasting ceremony, where 18 faculty members from the BBA programme raised their glasses in celebration, symbolising unity and the success of the graduating class.
As the buffet began, the room filled with cheerful conversation, laughter, and a lively sense of togetherness. Graduates joined in two interactive games that sparked memories and brought plenty of smiles - one involved matching faculty members’ names to their faces, while the other tested their HKBU knowledge through a fun online quiz, complete with cheers and prizes.
A live music performance kept the energy high throughout the evening, adding rhythm and warmth to the celebration. The night concluded with a lucky draw, bringing excitement and wrapping up the event with lasting memories.
More than a farewell, the BBA Graduation Dinner was a joyful reflection of shared milestones - a night that honoured the past, celebrated the present, and looked ahead to the bright future awaiting the Class of 2025.
