HKBU - emlyon (France)

To enroll in the HKBU-emlyon business school double degree programme in France, students must complete their studies at HKBU and then spend an additional 12 to 18 months attending the MSc in Management programme at emlyon.

Upon completion, students can earn the Master's or Master of Science (MSc) degree from HKBU, as well as the MSc in Management degree from emlyon.

This is a 1+1 to 1.5 years taught postgraduate programme for full-time TPg business students at HKBU to acquire an additional MSc in Management degree from emlyon. Students are required to complete their respective one-year Master's or MSc programme at HKBU before proceeding with their studies at emlyon.

Since emlyon's MSc in Management programme is a two-year programme, students' HKBU Master's or MSc programmes will be counted as the first year of the programme.

During their studies at emlyon, students are required to attain a total of 60 ECTS (approximately equivalent to 30 HKBU credits) plus completing a 6-month internship, job placement or work experience during or after their studies at emlyon in France or abroad.

Full-time HKBU taught postgraduate students having completed one of the following programmes:

  1. Master of Accountancy (MAcc)
  2. Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM)
  3. MSc in Applied Accounting & Finance (MScAAF)
  4. MSc in Business Management (MScBM)
  5. MSc in Corporate Governance and Compliance (MScCGC)
  6. MSc in Data Analytics and Business Economics (MScDABE)
  7. MSc in Finance (FinTech and Financial Analytics) (MScFTFA)
  • Passed all courses required for their respective degree with cGPA 2.50 or above
  • Good command of English (IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL iBT score of 79 / CEFR Level B2 or above)

For receiving the additional MSc in Management degree from emlyon, HKBU taught postgraduate business students who are accepted to the programme shall pay the tuition fees of their respective Master's or MSc programmes at a 25% discount to HKBU.

Interested full-time TPg business students need to submit their application to the Global Engagement Section of the School. The application deadline is 31st January each year.
